Things to do in four days in Venice
Venice is a magical place. Imagine wandering the canals late at night, when the city winds downs. Enjoying a day trip to the colourful island of Burano. Getting a gelato and going for a walk. Simply getting lost in this idyllic city.
Stay
We stayed at this amazing Airbnb – The house is exactly what you see in the photos here and has everything you might need. It is very well located, out of the touristic areas but close enough to be able to walk everywhere. Supermarkets are very close and food and drink are literally around the corner. We even had the pleasure to meet Cristina on our last hours in Venice and had a pleasant evening chatting and getting to know better this marvellous city. We recommend it 100%!
Eat & Drink
↠ Have a romantic dinner (or just a quick meal) at Ai Garzoti – Delicious pizza and antipasti.
↠ Check out this hip place – Paradiso perduto – we thought it was a bit pricy but really nice.
Se & Do
↠ Catch the sunset from one of the bridges.
↠ Visit the lovely and colourful town of Burano – really worth it! It can be a half a day trip.
↠ Try to walk along the city and get lost – and discover lovely canals.
Of course, there are the touristy things you might like to do when you come to Venice:
Visit Piazza San Marco and the Doge’s Palace. Take a picture at the Rialto Bridge. Take a (very expensive) gondola ride.
