Vietnam

Vietnam is a Southeast Asian country on the South China Sea known for its beaches, rivers, Buddhist pagodas and bustling cities. It was our first stop in the South East Asia trip. We travelled the country from north to south by night trains, sleeping buses, planes and vans. I’d describe Vietnam as a controlled beautiful caos rich in culture, history and landscapes. From full-on cities rich in grand colonial-era architecture to endless rice paddies.

Read on to find our Vietnam travel highlights. Where to stay, see & do, best street food, the Vietnam travel map and much more.
