Eat & Drink
Hanoi:
↠ Enjoy bun cha, a street-food classic at Bun Cha Nem Cua Be Dac Kim (barbecued pork with rice vermicelli and a side of sea-crab spring rolls).
↠ Have a drink or some food at this trendy spot, Xofa Cafe
↠ You can also taste some street food classics like Pho Bo (beef noodle soup) and Bun Rieu Cua (noodle soup with beef in a spicy crab broth).
Hue:
↠ Try the local specialities at Hang me me (our favourite was Banh Beo).
Hoi An:
↠ Morning Glory, this place is a must if you are in Hoi An (be aware that it’s usually pretty busy).
↠ Green Mango an excellent restaurant in a typical Hoi An house.
Ho Chi Minh City:
↠ Five Oysters, perfect place for seafood specialities frequented by backpackers.
↠ Ben Thanh Street Food Market an excellent street food market with cuisine from all three main regions of Vietnam.
See & Do
Hanoi:
↠ Discover the Old Quarter on food and enjoy Hanoi’s historic heart and soul.
↠ Be careful with the motorbikes and learn quickly how to cross the streets.
↠ Visit Ngoc Son Temple on Hoan Kiem Lake.
↠ Take a day trip to the famous Ha Long Bay.
↠ Check the coolest spot for Instagram photos, Hanoi Street Train.
Hue:
↠ Admire the palaces pagodas gateways and ruins of Hue’s Imperial Enclosure.
↠ If you have time to stop at Danang City, visit the Cau Vang bridge (hands bridge).
Hoi An:
↠ Rent a bike and spend the day by the sea.
↠ Walk around the Old Town and enjoy its beautifully preserved ancient city.
↠ Go check, Hoi An Vibes Only Wall, one of the most instagrammable spots of the city (this hidden gem lies in the back room of the Sunday in Hoi An, an interior design shop).
Ho Chi Minh City:
↠ The Cafe Apartment is like a library of coffee shops full of cool places to hang out.
↠ Admire the beautiful pink church, Tan Dinh Church (french-colonial period).
↠ Walk around Backpackers Street and enjoy the crazy nights out (if you’re into it).
